Maggie & Chris’ Washington D.C. wedding and reception celebrated both their union, and that of their families’ rich heritage. Born into a third-generation D.C. lineage, Maggie’s family has long called the District home, while Chris’ immediate family emigrated to the U.S. from China not so long ago. Drawn together during their time at alma mater Boston College where Chris was on the crew team, the couple said their vows at beautifully renovated and restored St. Joseph’s on Capitol Hill, where Maggie’s mother works and she grew up with her family attending. The couple and their families hosted the cocktail hour, dinner and reception at the classically beautiful National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C. Lovingly fêted by their friends and family during the seated dinner in the mezzanine, the party continued with dancing in the Great Hall downstairs (replete with an impromptu conga line!) long in to the night.
